چکیده

Exploring topological structure at Autonomous System (AS) level is indispensable for understanding most issues in Internet services. Previous models of AS graph involve address or connectivity information separately, and neither of these information can serve as a comprehensive metric for evaluating an AS’s contribution to the global routing. In this paper, we propose a new model for AS ranking named IDAV (Inter-Domain Access Volume). IDAV introduces the quantity of routed addresses into AS graph, and enriches the methodology of Internet marco structure inference. In IDAV, the magnitude of AS is measured with the primary eigenvector of the access volume matrix (Carriage Matrix) for AS graph. We construct the AS graph by parsing the forwarding information bases in border gateways. The computation, compared with previous approaches, demonstrates that IDAV model results in more accurate AS rankings. We believe the IDAV model is promisingly useful for studying inter-domain routing and Internet service behavior.

Route Reliability Ranking Algorithm for Prefix Hijacking Attacks in Border Gateway Protocol

Prefix-hijacking attack offers malicious parties to gain access to untraceable IP addresses in Intenet. Border gateway protocol (BGP) is the dominant inter domain routing protocol used in Internet. In this paper, to defend against Prefix Hijacking Attack on border gateway protocol (BGP), we propose to design a route reliability ranking (RRR) algorithm. The algorithm is used to authenticate the ...

Decentralized authorization for inter-domain collaborations with iRBAC framework

Inter-domain collaborations are composed of a series of tasks, whose run-time environment stretches over heterogeneous systems governed by different sets of policies. Though the collaborators are willing to allow access to their services and resources from outside of their administrative domains in order to reach the common goals of collaborations, they still desire to retain control over decid...

Determination of Stability Domains for Nonlinear Dynamical Systems Using the Weighted Residuals Method

Finding a suitable estimation of stability domain around stable equilibrium points is an important issue in the study of nonlinear dynamical systems. This paper intends to apply a set of analytical-numerical methods to estimate the region of attraction for autonomous nonlinear systems. In mechanical and structural engineering, autonomous systems could be found in large deformation problems or c...

BANDS: An Inter-domain Internet Security Policy Management System for IPSec/VPN

IPSecNPN is widely deployed for users to remotely access their corporate data. IPSec policies must be correctly set up for VPN to provide anticipated protection. Manual policy setup is unscalable, inefficient and error-prone. Automated policy generation to comply with and enforce high-level security policies is desired but difficult, especially in an inter-domain environment when a VPN traverse...

Robust stabilization of a class of three-dimensional uncertain fractional-order non-autonomous systems

This paper concerns the problem of robust stabilization of uncertain fractional-order non-autonomous systems. In this regard, a single input active control approach is proposed for control and stabilization of three-dimensional uncertain fractional-order systems. The robust controller is designed on the basis of fractional Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, the effects of model uncertai...
